Sorry you are having dress regret.

If you put a deposit down, you are locked in. If not, you can change your mind.

If you put a deposit down and did NOT sign anything than most likely you will just be out of your deposit and that’s it.

I guess it depends.  I put down a deposit, but not enough for them to order it, so I was able to change my mind up until that point.  If you put down enough for them to order it, and they have ordered it, you are stuck, especially if it is custom (hollow to hem) to your specifications.  I do know a girl who ordered hers, the wedding was called off, and they actually gave her, her money back.  Each place is different.  I would communicate with the shop.  That way you are not left wondering what to do!

I didn`t know there were contracts for dresses -usually just a deposit.

You can talk to the store and see what they say, but 90% of the time if its ordered for you, its yours. I know my store will hold dresses for 60 days on consignment -thats how I got mine, so maybe you`ll get lucky that way.

Maybe if you post some pics we can help you overcome your regrets (because we`ve all been there!)

Maybe you can talk to the store and see if you have any options. I am sorry you are having dress regret. Why don’t you post a picture of you on that day you decided it was the one and maybe seeing it will make you feel that way again. Or maybe you just need to try it on again to get that feeling again.

Since you made a deposit, you may be contractually obligated.  As suggested by my fellow Bees, I would go into the store immediately to see if they placed the order already.  If they haven’t maybe you can save your deposit for another dress you want to purchased instead.
