once that dress is perfectly altered, you are going to look stunning!! You have a great figure and the first dress would hide it. PS you might also want to consider a crinoline, I think it would give you more the shape that you’re looking for (comparable to the first dress)

Your dress is lovely. It obviously needs a good steam, which will help it look a lot better. Also, have you considered wearing a crinoline with it? I would try it with a crinoline. For me, it made all the difference in my dress and dress regret!

What look are you going for? Where is your venue? I think they’re two completely different dresses – looks, themes, etc. How much is the new dress? Have you gone wedding dress shopping in person – do you know fi that dress will flatter you?

I like the dress you have. I think it just needs the finishing alterations done. Tighten the waist and maybe add a crinoline. The skirt looks a tiny bit long, so either hem it, add heels or poof it up! You are gonna look fabulous!!!!

@whitecrayon101: I don’t know if the fabric on that first dress would be flattering on most women, to be honest.

if it is any help I have the models in the dresses, but obviously the dresses always look different on ‘real brides’

@whitecrayon101: i think your dress is beautiful but whats important is how do you feel in your dress? your oppinion is the only one that really matters. someone can tell me i look beautiful in a dress but if i dont feel it i mind as well not wear it. do whats in your heart!

Keep you dress but take the added pick ups out. It looked better in its original state.

The dress you have gives a much more flattering figure than the other would.(in my opinion)

Dress 1 looks a lot like my dress, so I’m biased! I think it depends on which silhouette you think looks better on you. Can you try on a dress similar in shape to dress 1 someplace? Something with more of a true waist?
Dress 1 looks a lot like the dress Kate Middleton wore for her reception. Don’t know if that’s a plus or a minus for you…
Personally I’m not a big fan of pickups, but you have to go with what you like.

Thanks everyone for your comments. Is there anyone who has the ability to edit the photo i have to show what the dress im wearing would look like in its orginal state (i.e the extra pickups just straight)?

Keep your dress just take out the extra pickups!

I don’t like the top of the first dress, so I say keep your dress but take the pickups out
