It’s gorgeous! If you’re regretting that you didn’t get a form fitting gown, you can always get a reception dress :)))))

Personally, I think you look bangin in your dress! I don’t think you need anything super fitted, you can see your beautiful figure in that dress! The more fitted dress didn’t load, but I see no difference in the first and the second dress (except that the straps are more flattering on the first dress). I think your dress is absolutely beautiful, and you look amazing in it!

The dress is stunning, its a little too low cut for me, I feel like people would just be staring since the girls are on display but i dont think a dress needs to show every curve to be sexy.

It’s awesome that you have a positive self image!

Put this away for a month. Then go do some trial hair and makeup appointments and put the dress back on. I spent a lot of time looking for a second reception dress when really I just needed to up the drama in my makeup and let some hair down. I felt so beautiful at my wedding, even after nearly wanting to burn my dress to ashes.

mpd80 :  I adore your purchased dress and though you may think it doesnt show off your hips enough, it makes your waist literally the smallest thing I have ever seen. Thats one of the biggest ebenfits of ballgowns! Though they may not show your wheel form like mermaid or trumpet, they do show off your stunning teeny tiny waist!

Dont have regrets bee! You look totally and utterly gorgeous and so so so far from ‘large’!!!!!!!! In fact I thinky our waist looks at LEAST 2 sizes smaller in your purchased gown as opposed to the other. I think it shows off your figure extremely well!

mpd80 :  I think the dress you got is showing off you figure in a really nice way! a dress doesnt need to be a tight mermaid gown to do that and the dress you got it STUNNING , sexy at the top but still taseful and classy with the tulle skirt

Girl, that dress is hella flattering on you. Yes, it’s got a full skirt, but it doesn’t make you look big at all, because the top is form fitted, it has a cinched in waist affect and all the lace components are daring and sexy. Keep your dress! It’s gorgeous, and it’s gorgeous on you!

A dress doesn’t need to be skin right to be sexy. This one is already low cut, sheer at the waist and very fitted around your waist, I think if it had a fitted bottom as well then it would be too much.

mpd80 :  tbh, i don’t love the fitted dress on you. while you have a tiny waist and your waist-to-hip ratio lends itself to a fitted gown, i don’t think that your boobs do. your chest is large compared with your hips; in a fully fitted gown, i think it makes your figure look unbalanced and top-heavy. i think you actually benefit from a skirt with a lot of fullness in order to balance out your top half. i wouldn’t remove any of the fullness from the skirt on the dress you purchased.

I agree with the poster before me – you have been gifted in the chest area (LUCKY) and I think having some fullnes at the bottom helps to balance it. The dress is gorgeous!

I had the same concern when I bought my dress. My consultant helped me with my decision by asking “is a fitted, figure hugging, deep V a style you would wear any other time?” and my answer was yes so she said I have my entire life to wear a fitted dress with a deep V whereas I have only one day to dress like a princess.

I might get a reception dress so I have no regrets but I keep going back to that question and then look at my dress and think “this is my one chance to wear something like this.”

You’re going to look stunning either way.
