I like the new dress! My only concern would be if yuor Fiance will like the high neckline? It’s a little conservative and he might like it more open since it seems like he wants you vamped up a bit.

@weddingbound:  +1. Sorry, I would almost always vote for more fitted styles over ballgown a styles but your first dress is amazing on you. So dreamy, and the strapless neckline looks fab on  you with your slender shoulders.

I like your old dress. I tend to like more fitted dresses, but your original one was so unique and flattering.

@patchy:  haha, well they look pretty small to me 🙂 thing is if there wasn’t 6000 difference in it, it may have been a tougher decision, but that’s a lotta money and just think of all the gorgeous accessories you could buy with the extra 😉

also the shoes definitely match the ‘new’ dress better.

Truthfully, I loved you in that Rivini. I think it’s so romantic and dreamy, and if I can be honest, I think it’s more flattering than the new dress. You are so slim, I think you would good in most styles – but for some reason the new dress makes you look a bit top-heavy. If you were to go for it, I would change the bottom into more of a trumpet silhouette, to give more balance.

@patchy:  Maybe I’m thinking with slightly more flare?

Did your fiance know you’d already put a deposit on it? Will you lose the deposit? Oh, men. Thankfully my Fiance and I are pretty much on the same page when it comes to wedding dresses.

Given the new dress is such a decent price, perhaps you can do two dresses – a fitted style to please him, and a princessy style to please yourself?

@patchy:  I love your new idea- and such a huge money savings!!! I would even alter it to be a tighter fitting mermaid silhouette! You have a fab figure and I love mermaid shape!

I actually like your older dress. I think the shopped photo has too much going on.

there is just something unflattering about the neckline on the photo shopped dress.  I like the original dress much better on you.  Maybe keep looking Since I know you said your Fiance doesn’t like the original?
