Heres my issue… I had a very specific shape in mind of the dress I pictured myself in. I also wanted to get a dress that was somewheat simple and then add a jeweled belt to dress it up.
I went to the store pretty nervous and I only tried on about 7 dresses until I decided on the one I bought. I didnt get “the feeling” and the dress has lace (which I didnt think I wanted) and the shape is a trumpet style which isnt quite what I wanted. It is also $900 over my budget. But my nerves got the best of me and I decided to buy it and from the second I said yes (even before I paid) I was having doubts and regrets!! I have my first fitting in a week and Im scared Im going to hate the dress even more when I see it again.
What I did like about the dress was the way it made my butt look (HA!) and the fact that it was very light weight which was important since we are getting married on the beach.
As mcuh as I concidered it I didnt want to by a new dress since I spent SO much on this one but now Im scared that I am going to hate the dress that is supposed to be the most important dress I ever wear. Its so hard to be excited for my wedding when I dont even like my dress!
Please give me your opion.
Here is the dress. Marisa 895. The sample size was too small and as you can see it was slightly tight on my hips but so it will fit better when I get my size. Here is a pic so you can get an idea of the dress.

I think it’s absolutely gorgeous. I love the quality, the way it lays, and the special detail you have going on the side.
While it might not be the dress you envisioned, I think it is breathtaking and I think you look great in it.

I haven’t seen a skirt like that before — it’s just beautiful. The only thing I can see wrong with it is the top isn’t laying right but that’s because it’s a sample and not fitted to you. This is a stunning dress and you look great in it.

I am jumping on the “i love it” bandwagon. I really love that the dress has a different cut across the thighs, I usually don’t like trumpet styles because they seem to cut the thighs in half but that one flows beautifully 🙂

Looks like you need a bit of a crinoline, but otherwise I think it’s gorgeous.

Oh my gosh, it is GORGEOUS! Love it! And I dont usually like Lace or Trumpet styles either 🙂 A sash will look great on it too!

@Eglantine: Yes since I couldnt zip it up all the way the top did not lay the way it should. I am actually going to have it made into more of a sweetheart neckline and make sure that it fits perfect!
