@RAWR.its.BREN: I tried on the DB dress you’re talking about! It made me feel like a princess and it was really pretty!

However, I didn’t go with it because 1) it was not flattering for my curvy shape 2) princess style is not really me. =) I also think this dress would be more flattering for soemone who is not as curvy as me!

For what it’s worth, the first dress you posted is gorgeous on you! If you REALLY want the Oleg dress, try selling yours online.

Definitely try it on first before you get too much regret! It looks sooo gorgeous on some people, but it just wasn’t nearly as flattering as most of the other dresses I tried on. The one you have is really gorgeous! Here’s a pic:

I am buying a maggie sottero (Anniston) and I tried on the Oleg as well and it DID NOT flatter me, I have a very curvy hour glass figure and this just made me look, well, big!! The Maggie I am going with is so form fitting and REALLY flatters my curves. These dresses are 2 very different styles, did you originally want a princess style? I think that if you were try on the Oleg you woud not love it as much, but if you did like the PP said you could prbably sell the Maggie online, both dresses are gorgeous, but I like the maggie better, especially for you shape… it looks great on you!

I suggest selling the Maggie on here and getting your dream dress. The Debbie does not look as flattering as the OC and I can see what you mean. Get your dream dress girl!

I wore it a month ago for my wedding and I loved it.  I am a curvy girl too, this dress was a size 16.  I felt beautiful in it and it did not make me feel bigger.

It was $750.

@RAWR One thing I just remembered about this dress in case you decide to go try it on.  I didnt’ like it at first because I had a petticoat on underneath.  The David’s Bridal I went to made me put on a petticoat before I tried on any dresses.  When I first saw myself in the mirror, I thought it was too much poof.  I took the petticoat off and liked the dress so much, I decided to say yes!  I guess it’s just a matter of preference, but I didn’t want a lot of poof.

@sarahrit: It looks fantastic on you! I’ve stalked the dress a ton online, lol, and I’m not sure what the difference is between it looking absolutely amazing and not so great on people. I almost wonder if it’s the crinoline?
