I don’t think there’s anything off about it! It’s probably just one of those cases where the sample sits a tad bit differently because it isn’t new and has been handled a lot. After alterations and steaming and everything it’ll look perfect on the wedding day!

My dress in particular came a little crunchy and weird on the bottom but that is only because the store sample is steamed (of course so it looks great so people buy it) and my straight out of a bag/box dress was not, making the crinoline and liner all crunchy and wrinkled. I would assume that is probably the issue here as well and when they alter it and then steam and smooth it all out you will love it again. Don’t worry!

I think what’s throwing you is the position of your arms in the second picture- that position makes your entire upper body look different.  The dress is still beautiful and looks great on you.

It’s the same dress and the same flowy to me.  Did you wear different shoes or standing with different position?  The first picture seems to be that the dress is longer and stay more flat on the ground.

I think its really pretty ! Your dress is probably just a little stiffer than the sample. But I have to say that I think your dress flows great 🙂

it looks beautiful! I’ll echo everyone else and say that it is probably a bit different from the sample that has been steamed, handled a lot, is not exactly fit to you, etc.

I think once you’ve had it hanging up for awhile and had it steamed it will look and feel “softer”

mermaids can make one look straight up and down..that is what happened when I tried this dress on..it didn’t show my waist curves..

Have you alterations yet? just tighten the dress closer to your mid thighs??
