Dress 2 (front)
Dress 2 (back)
Thought I’d post here as Ive recieved some really great feedback in the past (you ladies rock ;)! )
Recently Ive been going through some dress regret.. let me explain.
I had my search narrowed down to these 2 dresses which were at 2 different salons. I ended up making a bit of a rushed decision and picking the 2nd dress. It was part of a trunk show that was going to be gone in a week, so I jumped on it. Also the boutique I bought the dress from didnt allow any photos to be taken until the dress was ordered. So once the order was in and I could compare the pictures I started feeling like maybe I made the wrong decision.
So I dont know if its just the angle of the picture, but I feel as though the dress I chose makes me look bigger than I am. Also it has a fuller skirt and I started wondering if it looks like the dress is wearing me rather than the other way around? The ladies at the store reassured me that “some of the pouf could be taken out”.. but now I’m worried it wont look right if I take it out, you know? It has a layer of crinoline and horse hair (?) underneath. Does anyone know if I got some of that removed if it would have the same effect as the skirt on the 1st dress? (I really love the bottom of the 1st).
.. And of course there are things I love about the 2nd dress as well. But I’m just writing my main concerns because everytime I compare the pics I cant help but think that the 1st dress just looks better on me!
I’m just looking for your honest opinions please, and any suggestions, insight etc. It is possible that I could sell my dress and order the other, but obviously I would prefer not to..
Thanks In Advance Bees!

I thought for sure you were going to say you want 2 but ordered 1. 2 is perfect on you. Seriously. Put that dress regret away!

Honestly, when I was looking at the pictures before I read the text, I thought, “Oh I hope she picked dress 2 — it looks BEAUTIFUL on her and just perfect!”

Dress 2 is by far the better dress!

Same as nalastardust, when I was looking at the pictures (without reading your post), I was quickly drawn to the 2nd dress so it looks like you made the right decision!

I prefer 1 but because I do not like mermaid gowns with a really wide bell shaped bottom. Since you apparently have the same hesitation, can you have a couple of layers of floof removed?

Dress 2 is the better choice

No, no, I loooove dress 2!!! Absolutely gorgeous! Looks lush and romantic. Dress 1 looks rather generic and cheap to me. Sorry, I just went ahead and said it. >_<

Dress two by a mile, great choice! 🙂

Don’t worry be happy. Dress 2 is a winner and looks perfect. You can breathe and don’t even have a second thought. Spend your fear and worry on Donald trump, war and world peace.

Yes that’s what is bugging me.. When I ordered the dress the lady helping me said that removing either the crinoline or horse hair (?) would make it less poufy. The dress actually already came in, and when I tried it on a different lady was helping me and she said that I wouldn’t want to remove any of it because it would make the fabric “lay weird”… so I guess I wont know until I talk to a seamstress. Maybe I can show her the pic of the other dress bottom that I like and see what she thinks.
