You are rocking that dress!

You love it, thats all that matters.

And if your mom says she wanted the other one, tell her she can go ahead and wear it.  ๐Ÿ™‚

I don’t think you rushed anything. You fell in love with it and you bought it, I think that is totally reasonable.

Seriously, think how many dresses there are out there – you are always going to see others that you love too but you can only have 1 and I think the one you have on in those pics is perfect.

It does not make your hips look big. It hugs your figure beautifully and honestly, you look sexy. Your Fiance is going to love it.

PLUS, YOU love it!

I think you have made a good decision. Don’t worry about your mum. When she sees you all dressed up on your wedding day, that dress will make her cry too ๐Ÿ™‚

Please do not change your dress.  You are not hippy at all in this gown.  Your mother was just hurt that she missed the moment.  You are a woman and soon to be a wife.  Part of that is having a level of maturity that it takes to start making your own decisions.  I bet when she sees you in the dress with your veil and “in person” she willl come around.  I wish  you all the best!

ummm, you look AMAZING!!! I think most people would feel better if they lost 20lbs LOL But honestly, I would never look at you and think you need to loose weight. I think you look perfect in your dress just as you look in the pictures.

I dont agree with your mom at all. This dress is PERFECT

Tell your mom to shove it.  Or whatever words you want to use.  You look stunning in this dress… I’ve always loved it.  Your hips look fabulous, curvy and proportional and simply perfect.

Let her pick out your jewelry or veil or something.

sigh…bad momma… that was not a nice thing to say. However, IMO she was just trying to have a special moment with you, but her momzilla vibe took over…its not easy being the MOB when all her friends are telling her their special moments they had with their daughters and then she gets sad because she thinks she has to have the same ones with you in order to be a good momma. You and I both know thats not true, but right now shes kinda hurting. Moms, no matter what the age, still feel like they are 18 inside LOL and want to be accepted…

that being said, I think you look absolutely gorgeous in that dress  – please keep it and wear it; youll be a beautiful bride for your husband to be !

and that being said lol you could soften the blow about telling your mom that you want to keep it by having some special moments with her, so she doesnt feel left out – take her to lunch and then shop with her for HER dress, jewelry, shoes etc; she’ll love to brag on later with her friends how her daughter is looking out for her ๐Ÿ™‚ –  go to the salon together to try out some new up-dos or false eyelashes or spa day etc… sit down with her and have her look at one of the registries you already filled out and ask her what you might have missed – let her add something to your registry for fun (you can remove it later if its absolutely hideous lol) Give her a DIY task to do, such as assembling table numbers, or making something etc. that you wont mind letting her do so, but will actually be relieved.

IMO? She just wants to be needed as a mom – by her beautiful daughter ๐Ÿ™‚

you look amazing! In the end have the conversation with your mom that you want to feel beautiful in the dress you get married in and this is the one that makes you look and feel the way you want to look and the way you think your husband to be would want to see you!
