Hollyhox313:  I actually just thought “wow” to myself. You look gorgeous! I’ve seen poofier dresses for sure…yours has “poof” but just the right amount. You look perfectly proportioned in it. Your wedding photos are going to be STUNNING. Chin up girl, you’re fab 🙂

Hollyhox313:  I think you look great! But, if you’re feeling too poofy…is there anything they can remove under the dress to make it less poofy?

I agree with the other girls.  You look fabulous!  However, I stand at a whopping 5’3″ so i know what it feels like to have your clothes eat you alive.  Its possible for the seamstress to raise the dress at the waist.  It looks like the dress is slightly a dropped waist so they could bring it to a natural waist.  But then you have to ask yourself if you want it at the natual waist or not.  Bringing it up to the natual waist will give you a little more length on the skirt rather than the torso and will probably balance you out.

If you’re in the chicago area I would love to help you.  Im a seamstress myself and work predominantly on wedding gowns.  If not I wish you the best of luck.

Wow you look great! If your feeling too poofy, would you consder a different veil? I think a long one with only 1 layer of tulle could give the illusion of less poof without doing anything to the dress (which by the way is stunning on you!)

As you asked about the belt, I’d suggest moving it to your natural waist since it’s smaller and where you currently have it sitting I think it would accentuate your tiny waist and keep the flowers on the belt calling to where the skirt starts to poof. I cna Photoshop it for you real quick if you want an idea of what that might look like.

Either way I think the dress a a PP siad “the perfect amount of poof” 🙂

Hollyhox313:  you look amazing and it is not swallowing you. I am also a petite girl with a ballgown and had similar thoughts at first. I am so glad I didn’t switch! You look beautiful!
