@hersheybride2013: I think the dress is beautiful and I love the beading! I would go with out the sash though. The second pic without the sash makes your torsoe look longer and thinner. I think the first pic with the sash cuts your torsoe in half and makes it look shorter and your bust look bigger than the second pic.

@hersheybride2013: yo say plus sized I see a Princess….how about adding an overlay so you feel you have more comfortable and covered

I think it looks gorgeous the way it is, but if you’re concerned, would you consider a bolero or jacket? I wore one because I am not comfortable with my arms, and because we got married in late fall in Chicago, so it helped keep me a little warmer!

Wow, you all are so amazing! Thank you so much for the feedback. You are all so sweet and I really appreciate the confidence boosters 🙂 All the bolero comments are appreciated; I’ll take that stuggestion to the seamstress. I’m taking a deep breath and will try to remain calm for two weeks.
@bluesteel and @MrsCanuck – those are great points. Thank you for reassuring me that the new dress and the seamstress will hopefully work wonders!
@chizzy – Spanx are my best friend! 🙂 thus my worry about whether the back is even lower than in the pics. The belt is another seamstress discussion. I bought it to emphasize the waist but I’m not sure it’s right. @shaniqua had a good suggestion for a dark belt, I like that idea
@Mrs.HMBucks – LOL, right?! That red dress really is, um, eye-catching 🙂
@Bridey77 – yes, that expression is unhappy. I just saw these pics and that’s why I started looking.
@OldMrsMcDonald – beautiful bolero! Did you buy or have your seamstress make it?

That gown is stunning, don’t change it! Once it fits you correctly I guarantee you’ll feel differently about it. The back looks great, absolutely not too low. The dress looks great as is, but if you feel more comfortable having a bolero, go for it! For a November wedding, you could even go extra glam and wear something like this for a few outdoor photos : )

The dress looks lovely on you! So flattering, and I see no back fat! If you’re really unhappy, you can look around for something else, but I really think you found a perfect dress for you!

@hersheybride2013: I honestly see nothing at all wrong with the dress. I was expecting much worse from the thread title. I think it’s very pretty and has a flattering shape. Maybe you just need to see it on you with everything else pulled together – your veil/hair/makeup.
