My dress regret has dissapeared since trying on my dress having not seen in it months, but now I have something else keeping me up at night! I love the viel I chose, but now I’m thinking it might be too short! When I look at pics, I notice it reaches to the end of my train, maybe an inch or two shy at the very peak. Seems like whenever I see long viels, they kinda drag past the train a few inches at least. Do I need a longer viel???

I think the length is perfect! I like that the veil ends where the train begins!

Has it come in yet? If not, you can call the salon and they might be able to extend it for you. My mom wanted me to extend my train so I did and later realized it was longer than my veil. We called and had the veil extended so it was longer than the dress, no problem.

I think that it looks nicer when its longer than your train, but I guess that depends on how you want to wear it. Mine will be longer than the train.

I agree that I like a veil that’s longer than a train. I wore a full a-line and cut the train off because it was too overwhelming for my short stature and I even wore a chapel-length veil. I wish I could see more of the detailing on the edge of your veil, but it’s obscured by the train. I would say call the bridal salon and see what they have as far as options. I don’t mean to be a debbie downer, but I understand your concern.

thanks guys, I’ll ask, it couldnt hurt to see i fthey have the same one, only a few inches longer! I do think it looks great as it is and yeah, I might be over thinking it, but you spend so much on a viel, you wanna see that detail at the end of it.
