I think you should hands down LOVE your wedding dress.  That being said, if you can’t sell your David’s Bridal dress, you could always wear it to your reception…Do what makes you happy!

@CocoClassic:  Oh, well that stinks 🙁 what I was gonna do if DB hadn’t taken my dress is sell it for as much as I could get it for and go get the one I wanted so maybe you should go with your try-to-sell-it plan. The DB dress is gorgeous, but you should have the one you want on your day.

Do you think you could find the first dress for sale somewhere (or even have a replica made??)

I think that would make you happiest.

I agree with many that the dress you have now looks wonderful on you. IMO, the dress you are lusting after is weird-looking; reminds me of a full-body bandage on an accident victim, with frayed edges around the bottom.

Dress regret is a difficult emotion; but keep in mind that wedding planning is SO stressful, and if you can get yourself to a place of feeling wonderful about your very lovely dress, which is also your FI’s taste, a huge load of stress will just slide off your shoulders and you can move on to other things.

You have a beautiful figure and your current dress shows it off very nicely. In the other dress, all that mummy wrap and flounces could really prove to distract from, rather than enhance, your inherent loveliness!

I agree with others you seemed to pose in the 1st two pictures which proved you loved them.

First, you look great in the DB dress.  That said, I feel like it is less dramatic than the other dresses that you attempted to buy or the JBS dress.  If you can afford the JBS dress even if the DB dress doesn’t sell, then I would go for it.  Otherwise, maybe try asking in person at DB about exchanging.  I’ve heard that their official policy is no returns or exchanges, but I’ve also seen stories on the boards where people were able to exchange their new with tags DB dresses for dresses of equal or higher price.  I don’t know if you tried on any of these, but this dress, this dress with a crinoline for more poof, and this one if they can remove the halter seem to have some elements that you have liked in other dresses.  Good luck, and know that you’ll look lovely at your wedding even if you stick with the DB dress that you are iffy about.

I love the mermaid style on you. Major unf. And I think you’ll regret it if you don’t love your wedding dress. If all goes well, you’re going to look at these pictures forever! Imo, try to sell the DB dress and get a dress you utterly and completely love. I’m sorry you’ve had such crap luck so far…

@CocoClassic:  Can I be honest? I think that Jasmines dress is ugly. The one you got looks beautiful on you, but if you arent sure you love it, go shopping again! DB is pretty good about trading if you find a dress you like better. And they have dresses similar is design to the first two dresses.

Its a shame you couldnt get that second dress. I literally gasped when I saw it. Its so pretty.

And sidenote – I freaking love your hair!

I see why you love dresses 1 and 2. The DB dress looks nice to me, but not as flippin awesome as either of the first two, so I understand your search – it isn’t bad, but the others set the level and it isn’t meeting it. That said, I don’t like the JB dress. I would consider searching a bit more, unless of course YOU are obsessed with the JB dress in which case go for it.

I think the DB dress looks amazing on you!  But I think (and sorry for being so unhelpful lol) that you should go with your gut.  If you aren’t LOVING the dress and feel like ordering the otherone is what you need to do…then I say go for it.  It is a bummer that you already but the deposit and will have to pay for the DB one, but like the PP said, you can always sell it to try to get the money back 🙂
