PinkPearls:  It’s beautifulllllllll. I think it’s more than formal enough for your venue. It’s about what you want but I love that dress and it looks great on you.

PinkPearls:  I saw your dress in another thread recently and I remember thinking “wow, how dreamy!”  I seriously LOVE it on you, and I think it would honestly complement the masculine vibe of your venue really well.

I personally think that dress is PERFECT for a historic mansion venue. The sparkles will pick up the low lighting beautifully. I definitely think that more masculine, formal venues are always accented by a bold a whimsical dress. Could you maybe share a pic of your venue? That would help us be able to give you more detailed feedback.

But I absolutely LOVE that dress it is so fun and gorgeous and it looks AMAZING on you! I think it would look great no matter where you wear it, but it’s fairly glamorous and I think it would go nicely in a mansion!

I think it’s gorgeous! If you’re concerned about it working with your venue, I think the way you accessorize it can bring it more to that elegant/ vintage look you’re referencing. A Downton Abbey-esque updo, an elegant cathedral length veil, pearl bracelet and pearl chandelier earrings, maybe a simple pearl drop necklace to accentuate the V-neckline if your earrings are more simple.

But honestly, I don’t think dresses need to match venues, so if you wanted to play up the fun/ whimsical aspect of your dress with your accessories, then go for it!
