I’m seriously thinking I bought the wrong dress.. I love the dress I bought, but don’t think I will love it when I look back on it. I think I will think of it as a trendy dress, and wish I would have gotten something more timeless and elegant. My wedding is end of august, so I have to decide like.. yesterday if I should order the dress I debated on in the beginning!!
My current dress, Blue by Enzoani, Frisco: no veil
The other, Maggie Sottero Emma (would get a button back and possibly extended train)

the Emma is more timeless but the first dress is still beautiful.

I think both are a little trendy, honestly, sunce lace has recently become super popular again. That being said, Im basing my answer on how you look in the dress. I like the Emma one more!

Honestly they are both beautiful. I agree the first is more trendy, but I don’t think that’s a reason for getting a new dress. Let’s be real – in 20 years all of our dresses are going to look “dated” but who cares? If you love the dress keep it. If you truly don’t love it, then consider the Emma.

foshshly: I prefer the first dress. I love that the skirt is more flowy with texture. It’s not too over the top and I think it’ll look great for an August wedding.

They are equally nice – simply different styles. I think any strapless dress as a “trendy” dress though. 🙂

Wow!!! You look so great in the Emma!

Emma is classic and much more flattering on you. The first one emphasizes your hips while the second slims your figure.

I like your current dress better. But maybe with a sweetheart top like the Maggie Sottero.

I love the emma but Frisco shows your curves.

I think the Emma is kind of blah. I don’t think it’s doing anything for you. I think the Frisco looks better on you. The bottom is kind of trendy, but I really don’t think there is a truly timeless dress.

I’m bias to the Emma because that’s the dress I almost bought! Is that in the champagne? I prefer it in the ivory but it looks gorgeous on you.

I love both dresses on you. Allthough, I prefer the skirt of the first but the v neck line of the second. Maybe you can tweak the neckline of the first a little bit?

Prefer the Emma WITH the sash. If you’re not doing the sash, then I prefer the one you bought.
The neckline of the Emma is more flattering and the lace detail is beautiful.

I love your original dress! It depends on what kind of bride you want to be? Fun and beautiful or classic and beautiful? 🙂
