Honestly not a big fan of either.  I’d keep looking.

From a logistical standpoint, the very visible wrinkles on your first dress worry me. I know that it’ll be steamed on your big day, but it seems like it would crease really easily again when you sat down.

Bridetobe829:  I love your dress!  Especially with the addition of the belt 🙂  The second dress is lovely, but doesn’t seem very bridal.  You made the right choice, don’t sweat it!

Bridetobe829:  I love love love your original dress when you add that flowered belt!! The belt seriously pulls it all together and adds a wonderful touch. Keep your first dress…the second one is pretty, but I don’t think it’s worth the cost.

Bridetobe829:  Oh, and in response to your update, I DEFINITELY think a seamstress could add more tulle to the first dress. That really shouldn’t be too difficult, and I think it would look beautiful.

Bridetobe829:  The first dress is better, and yes, a thinner non flower belt would be better with it.

Why not try a happy medium? I work in aboutique and we just got an Essense of Australia dress in that seems like a perfect mix of the two. Maybe worth trying out? Also it is much less than the Watters but still looks more high quality than the David’s Bridal. It’s also a lighter blush which may help with the color problem.

I like the bottom of the second dress, but I don’t think it’s worth paying so much for that. It’s not an ideal color for a wedding (for me at least).

The first one has a nice upper half and looks good with the sash. But it would be better if you could make the bottom fuller by adding more layers if possible. Or wearing a pouffy slip?

The dresses are so similar I would not spend the extra money to buy the second dress.
