99/100 times I pick the coloured dress… but not this one. It is too brown, it looks muddy to me. I would keep your original one, I think it looks lovely on you. It could use a wide blingy/floral belt with colour in it and the ribbon in the back would be coloured on top, that would look stunning!

Also you may want to go with a non DB seamstress anyways. My friend is a wedding planner and she has a lot of not so great stories.

I like both but LOVE the first dress! It was one of the dresses I tried on at David’s Bridal but it wasn’t as flattering on me as it is on you. Depends on what you like better but I say the first one looks amazing! You could wear a full crinoline under the first one but it also looks great as is

While I do love the Watters dress on you, I really love the original David’s dress! I think the silhouette is better suited on you and overall the dress seems perfect for your wedding. I do prefer the belt that you had on the Watters dress to the floral one on the Davids dress though.

I would definitely get the waters gown, I wore a champagne color dress and loved it. Check preowned weddingdresses.com, there is one on there for half that price I think, or at least cheaper. I think it was an 8.

i do not like the davids bridal dress too much, it looks cheap. Sorry to be honest. But the Watters dress will look so beautiful and will flow so nice. Love it!!

Just wanted to add, you do not have to get alterations done at davids bridal, I had mine done by a professional seamstress that knew what she was doing. Found her on wedding wire. She worked out of her house, but really did a perfect job. I have heard that davids bridal has messed up many dresses. I don’t have anything against them, I have been told from my seamstress as she fixed their mistakes. I wish you the best!

Bridetobe829 :  which one did you go with? I’m wearing the BHLDN one next year.
