I’ve already posted with dress regret, fallen in love with my dress again, and now am doubting it once again. Last time I had regret I didn’t have another dress in mind…now I do. I purchased my dress the day after I got engaged at a sample sale. I wasn’t planning on buying a dress that day, but found one of my dream dresses at an AWESOME price. I had already been searching online for months and had narrowed it down to about 6 dresses. However, I’m not sure if I rushed my decision. My wedding is still over a year away, so I’m not sure if I should wait until close to the date to make a final decision. Here is the dress I chose:
Mori Lee 6608 (It’s ivory. The photo on the left is how it really looks in person. The lighting on the right is just really bad)

And here is the dress I’m thinking I should switch to. It was also one of the 6 dresses I had narrowed down to before I got engaged. It’s also Mori Lee and discontinued as well so it would be pretty inexpensive and I wouldn’t loose too much money. I didn’t get a chance to try this dress on (photo is someone close to my size).Mori Lee 4524:

I love your dress that you already have! Is it convertible?
To be honest I don’t see huge differences. I get that they’re different, but come on – they’re both natural waist white strapless dresses. What is it that draws you to the second one so much? The ruffles? The belt?
I hate to sound unkind but I just tried to explain “dress regret” to my fiance and he had some very unkind things to say so I’m goiing to leave it at that.

They are so similar I would keep the dress you have and play with your accessories to get the look you want.

They are pretty similar- maybe just add a wide sparkly belt to the dress you already have?

I love the first dress! If you want to add some sparkle maybe try adding a sparkly broach?? I think that would look great 🙂

I think they are so similar. I even like the first one a little bit better. Stop second guessing yourself!

Your dress looks great on you! It’s so similar to the other dress, but I like yours more because of the option to take the skirt off.

Oh boy do I understand the second guessing. But really, stop! Your first dress is just beautiful. The contrast between the torso and the skirt is quite nice. They’re very similar. If it’s a bit more bling you want, like shamrock said, add a belt-or some other sparkly accessories.

They are so similar I don’t see much point in switching and I personally think yours looks awesome on you. It’s gorgous. Add a sparkly necklace and some awesome earrings if you want some sparkle.

I think all you need is a crinoline. The mori lee is nice a poofy and your dress would look exactly the same if you added a crinoline. plus the fact that it’s convertable is awesome!

@Soon_To_Be_Mrs_T: Definitely keep the convertible dress. Its beautiful, and I had a convertible dress and it was a LIFE saver! Plus the new dress is very similar to the one you have. Maybe add some bling to the waist and/or neckline, and it will liven up! Just my 2 cents! 🙂
