Your dress is gorgeous!!  I love it!!  I think alterations will make all the difference.  I’m having the same issue.  Bought a sample that’s too big and I’m all out of patience to wait until it’s close enough to do alterations.  I’m also adding a corset.  Maybe that will help with some shape for you too!

That dress can totally be trumpeted to give you the look you want. I had a fit-and-flate that we made trumpet no problem.

Wedding dresses are made to be altered.  They can definitely tighten on your hips!!

I definitely don’t think its going to look like the last dress, but you can probably make it look like the other two you like.  Alterations can probably take it in below your butt to get the look you like if it isn’t “trumpet/fit n flare” enough for you.  Its a gorgeous dress!

I think it’s most likely because of the size difference.  If not, though they can probably take in the hip area to make it tighter.

I had the same issue with my dress- the model picture was definitely more fitted through the hips than the dress was supposed to be worn. My tailor was great and was able to take in just enough through the hips to make it look like the picture. So, no worries- it can be done!!

This dress is definitely an A-line dress, technically, a modified A-line. I have no idea why the model picture looks like that, but you could probably make it the way you want with alterations and maybe a crinoline.

It is my dress too!

Thank goodness for alterations! Go find a good seamstress and see what can be done.

This is why I hate those clip thingies at the salon!!

I am also having dress doubt and I think I’m having it too because it’s so hard to get an idea of exactly how the dress will fit when it is in your size. I love that gown and I think that it will definitely be more form fitting in your size, as well as alterations:)

I think after the alterations it will look exactly how you want it. Great dress by the way. I will also be taking in the hips of my dress which is a hybrid between a a-line/fit and flare.
