Even though it’s WAY too big, it looks FANTASTIC on you; it’ll look even better when it’s YOUR size.

I think the dress is gorgeous! I think you should def. talk with the alteration specialist. I’m sure they know all sorts of alterations and under the gown essentials that can give you what your looking for.

I ordered this dress too!! I ordered it at the end of June so just a little bit after you!

Like yourself I think I tried on a size 10 or 12 and ordered it in a size 4.

They pulled it in really tight and added a crinoline skirt underneath and it looked a-line and that’s what I believe it’ll come to look like. The Casablanca pic is not accurate.

@Jerseygirl3586:  Are you planning on wearing a crinoline with yours? Do you happent to have a picture?

I also ordered the Casablanca 2072 (in a size 4 too) and tried it on a few sizes larger. I’m wondering if the fit of the 4 will be similar to the shape the clipped it on me in the store.

Would a crinoline accent the shape of the bottom, or is it not meant for one?

PS: I’m getting married the day before you ๐Ÿ™‚ June 21, 2013

If it’s the shape, just get it altered.

It’s beautiful! Try not to worry, you can take it in in the hips and thighs to get more of a trumpet look.

This is my dress too!!!! I just ordered it in September and I can’t wait for it to come in!! Unfortunately that won’t be until next March ๐Ÿ™   I am also going to have it taken in some to make it more form fitting and curvy, and I am having the underneath layer of the dress a little shorter than the lace layer in the train to show off the detailing of the lace , here’s a pic of what I want the train to look like…

I’m sure you can get the hips taken in, but I heard that those model pics have been pulled so tight like glad wrap, and she wouldn’t actually be able to sit down… so just something to keep in mind!

Your dress is beautiful! Having it in the right size will make a world of a difference plus adding crinolin to flare it out in the bottom and any alterations will make it look like the models dress.  I think you’ll be pleased with your choice.
