SoIordered the mori lee 5104 sight unseen. Now I’m having second thoughts about it……. I haven’t tried it on. I did try on the 5108 and loved it. I’m thinking of purchasing the 5108 as well. I’m worried because I’m 5’2 and the skirt on the 5104 kind of just suddenly starts, i worry it will cut me off. The ruching on the bodice also gives me nerves. Please help!!! Oh just saw your comment that its not u in the pics and its 2 different girls anyway haha!! Whoops!!! I personally like ruching cos it flatters all body types no matter how big or small etc. I like both dresses ! If it was me I’d go for the second but that’s just my own taste they are both gorgeous

We would really need to see the fit of the dresses on YOU. It’s not really helpful to see them on others. Both these women look amazing in their respective gowns

Hmm I love both! But I do see what you mean. How high are your heels going to be? I say if u wear very high heels you wont have to get so much cut off. I bought 6″ shoes for this very reason. However, if they will cause you extreme pain then I’m on the fence.

@nearlymarriedlass: yeah I missed that she said the pics werent hers!
OP I dont know who can answer this without seeing u atleast in the dress u ordered. Also, depending on your shoes AND the length of the gown you may be okay.

i like the bottom of the 2nd dress better:)

She is pictured in the 2nd gown. She blindly ordered the first one cuz she couldn’t try it on.
Sorry Jesswiest, I do like the 2nd one to be honest and plus you tried it on already! It has a better flow and you do not look 5’2 in it.. the first one gets cut off and a bit frumpy on the bottom…the torso is long so if it doesn’t hit you at the right spot, I think it will not be proportional making you appear shorter than you are.

I’m sure the first dress will look stunning on you, they’re very similar styles so I can’t see why the effect would be dramatically different with the second dress.
I actually prefer the style you went with, the ruffled rosettes are really dreamy (so similar to the Vera Wang Gemma). I’m also not a fan of corset lacing, or the way the tulle fishtail comes out so abruptly on the second dress.

I think your just getting nervous. While you look amazing in the second, you clearly have the figure to rock the other one.

Just nerves. Don’t make any decisions until you tried the first one on!
Personally I LOVE the first dress. I think you have the figure to pull it of. Also: a ball gown usually makes you look smaller, because this is quite fitted it will give you some lenght optically. And if you can walk on high heels, get some fabulous stiletto’s for your wedding day.
The first one spoke to you, that’s why you ordered it. You will love it when you’re wearing it.
