Of these 2, I like #1 hands down, but what was your original dress?

Neither, I also looked at your original dress and you are a knockout. These are ehhh. The lace one looks cheap and granny and the second is too strange, not memorable at all. PLEASE keep your first one!!

#1 looks beautiful on you, not a fan of the big one sleeve on #2.

@Tangled:  Gotcha.  I thought they were 2 pictures of the same dress so that’s how much I was not able to tell the difference!

OP, I still think the original dress blows these two out of the water.  I think if you add a blingy sash to the original it will really be perfect.

Wasnt really impressed with either of these. I know you are saying that original dress is heavy. why not get the train shortened? Maybe remove some of the underskirt to make it less of mermaid style. I bet if you bring it to a seamstress, they could alter it and make it fit you better. My dress is heavy too… but it is ONE day out of the year that you will be uncomfortable!! Beauty is pain!! I really think that if they alter it, it would be alot less heavy and even less formal looking. Just an option! Seamstresses are great! they turned my dress into a dream dress! that fits me perfect  🙂

Also, you will save much money by having a seamstress alter this dress to what you like instead of buying a new one. Maybe adding a belt/sash around your waist will also help give it a nice original style.

Also… Even if you are not doing a ceremony, it is still your wedding day!!

It is your special day, thats what makes it ok to wear a fancy dress!!

Doesnt matter of the venue, I have seen girls wear ballgowns in a park/outside reception. And they looked fabulous!

I think the point is that it is your day, wear what makes you happy.

Ya sorry I have to agree with most people here..I really dont like either of these dresses very much, but LOVE your original dress…but like someone said, you are the one who needs to love it, not us…so I guess just go with your gut 🙂

I like your original dress better. And it looks closest to the dress you fell in love with but as out of your price range. Add a beaded sash under the bust line and alter the neckline to lower the sweetheart and they look identical to me!

If you end up choosing another dress, that’s your choice but I don’t think these are the best choices. Just my opinion though!

The original dress. :/ I’m sorry, but that dress is better than these!

I always find it interesting that I am ALWAYS outnumbered in these dress/jewelry polls! I still vote for number 2! I’ll choose simple, sleek, and no beading over anything else, any day of the week!
