It’s hard to fathom your dress regret when your dress is so exquisite and looks so beautiful on you.  Just look at the sheen on that skirt.  I’m not sure how you could top that dress.  You chose well 3 years ago.  There is nothing dated about that style and there never will be

Beautiful classic dress. I don’t think you should give a second thought to what trends wedding dresses go through in the last few years. Yours kind of transcends that , and looks luxurious and elegant as well.

It will probably be hard to stop looking at dresses but do it if you can, or at least try not to compare , just look at them for their own sake.

I’m in the same boat as you! I bought a dress that wasn’t exactly what I had envisioned, but liked, and nearly two years later (and another year to wait) I’m having doubts about it. Right now my plan is to bring it home and try it on again a few more times before making any appointment to see other dresses.

I think it is absolutely okay to change your mind if you’re not feeling it (regardless of other people’s opinions). There’s been plenty of other stories on here of people getting different dresses and others who regret sticking with the one they had, so you’re not alone in this experience. I know if I could go back in time I would have worn a different dress to prom, and this is the same concept. Just give it some time, try on your dress a few more times, and see how you feel about it then.

it is a BEAUTIFUL dress and I think you should keep and wear it – you look gorgeous in it.

I think like some of the other bees said, a good plan would be to simply stop looking at it and trying it on and try again much closer to the date.

That said, my sister changed her dress, and seemed much happier in the second. If you have the money to afford another, and truly think you won’t feel beautiful and stunning in this one, then why not go ahead and get another one?

But, I think you should wait until much closer to the time to consider that.
