This happened to me, but they would not refund any money. It also says right on the contract “NO REFUNDS or exhanges” so ultimately it’s my fault. I have since purchased another dress and I am trying to sell the first one.

I had dress regret and i’m selling mine. Luckily I’ll only be out $400 from selling it. So it’s not a bug deal, plus my wedding is still a year away.

I bought mine in november of last year. . Its still not here so I havent got to try it on again, but since that time, I’ve had my doubts. I think I may have rushed because I was just excited. It should be coming in any day now, and when I go try it on, im hoping my feelings will change! I hope that it is just normal 🙂

I’m actually going through a similar situation….

I bought my Vera Wang White dress YESTERDAY and when searching for the photo of the dress I actually bought, what do I see in my google search? AN EVEN MORE RIDICULOUSLY AMAZING DRESS that is coming out next month (same line, new collection that I didnt even know existed!)

So, I feel ike an idiot, if I had known to wait to try this dress when it comes out in December I would have.

I love the dress I already bought but the new one I saw is just incredible, and actually costs less. My mom said I’m being ridiculous…but should I always wonder “what if?”

Maybe I should try and sell my new dress when it comes in February?
It’s this one:

And here’s the new one (the pink) I just fell in love with – and I’ve been looking for colour specifically!

HELP!!!

@MissGemini:  Did you order from David’s Bridal? Since they probably haven’t started production on your dress yet, they could probably cancel that one and give you a credit that you could transfer over to the new dress when it comes in. Give them a call.

I was so excited to try my dress when it finally came in and then I tried it on and it was  supposed to fit better than the one I initially tried on.  I was really frustrated because it didn’t feel like I imagined it would, mostly because I didn’t have the correct undergarments on to hold everything in place.  I felt like it had the potential to be perfect if the alterations could make it the way I wanted it, but just the way the dress fit, I was really worried it might not work.  But I took a picture of myself in it…took the dress home…feeling really stressed the whole way home.  Then I looked at myself in the picture and knew it was still the one!  I loved the look.  I tried it on with the correct undergarments and now I know the alterations will work.  So, now I’m excited again but for a while I definitely had my doubts and that’s a horrible feeling.  You really have to feel like its the one, otherwise what’s the point.  I can see how people end up selling their first pick and getting a different one.  I wish you luck.

@RexManningDay:  thanks, that’s an excellent idea, I’m going to call them in the morning! I know when I purchased the dress it was “final sale” so I just assumed it would be a no-go.

@MissGemini:  OK I’m not gonna lie that new one is unbelievable… but your old one is really stunning too! You should definitely give it another chance!

@Bebealways:  I think I just had a brief panic attack. I know I picked my original dress for a reason in the 1st place…I love how the bodice comes down lower and in a point. Kind of reminds me of my favourite Disney Princess (I know, I’m super lame!)

@MissGemini:  Good luck with David’s.  I purchased a dress it came in took it home and a month later when I opened the dress bag  3 large stains on it.  The store couln’t get them out, ordered another when it came in I examined it closely… 6 black streak marks on the train.   Said they would spot clean it.  Not happy, don’t think a new wdding dress should be spot cleaned.I ask for my money back and it has turned into a fiasco.  They will not refund my money. in a dilema now… don’t know what to do
