A couple of months the ago I had a breakdown about my dress and my body, not feeling flattered or pretty at all. I’m on a tight tight budget and at the time it a few months away, I had to come to terms with being “stuck” with it. I had a fitting yesterday, and I wanted to share an update about how the dress fits now and would love feedback. Still waiting for my veil to come in, and my actual flower crown the day of will be eucalyptus and burgundy. I still hate my arms and wish I had a smaller waist and a dress that hid those things But it is what it is! The advice I got on here was to try to get a different dress that would be more flattering for my body which unfortunately was not in the cards. I had no clue what to do. But I got a bunch of accessories to try and this was the result. It’s been one crazy emotional rollercoaster, that’s for sure!
And the bustle

I know we all have our personal insecurities that we can’t shake but to a strangers eyes you look incredible! Your hair color is going to look awesome with eucalyptus and burgundy.

You look amazing! I think that dress looks gorgeous on you personally. As pp said everyone has their own insecurities but I think this dress is super flattering and looks great on you.

I think you look great. We all have things that we don’t like about our appearances and our society today sets up ideals that are very difficult for most people to achieve. Rock it and have a great time at your wedding!

I really think it looks beautiful on you bee 🙂 I was honestly surprised at how great you look after reading your post!

Your post breaks my heart! There is nothing wrong with how you look in that dress, real talk.

You look great!
The only comment I’d make is that I think the belt clashes with the dress. Your dress has loads of pretty details and the belt is detailed as well and they compete. If you really want a belt, I’d suggest a plain satin ribbon.
But otherwise, you look really good. And the dress fits well.

You look beautiful but I agree on ditching the belt.

I like your dress the back is very pretty. Can you add sleeves? If you don’t like your arms adding sleeves may help. But I personally think you look great in it and you have nice arms you don’t need to hide them. Have you tried adding a petticoat underneath it? It may bring the dress out more and make you feel like you have a smaller waist.

I agree with the comments about the belt. I think a thick, satin ivory belt would look much better and give you a more defined waist. I love the dress on you!

I think you look beautiful and think your arms and waist look lovely in the dress. Try not to dwell on those thoughts – we our our own worst critics, and everyone coming to your wedding will be there for you! (And, at that, in awe of how you look I’m sure!) Enjoy your day that will be so much more than a dress, and post some pics when you get ’em back! <3
