So, it’s come time for me to shop for my veil. My dress is San Patrick Raidis, and I bought it as a sample back in January. It’s technically Ivory, but very close (in my opinion) to diamond white. Obviously, I’d like my dress to match as closely as possible.
There’s a dress salon nearby that carries San Patrick (one of only two in my state.) What I’d like to do is go to the salon, and try on either Raidis or a similar San Patrick gown, in the right color, and then start trying veils. I’d prefer NOT to bring my actual dress, to avoid it possibly being damaged.
Is that rude? I wouldn’t take a lot of their time by getting the dress on, and it would result in a sale of a veil (and possibly a belt/sash as well.) Does that justify them spending the time with me to get the sample dress on and using their sample? I appreciate your thoughts, bees!
