I think something like this is DIY-able!  Check out this tutorial for fabric flowers:

I believe etsy also has a place where you can post your “wish” and sellers can offer to make what you’re looking for.

Would you send your dress in for them to sew the strap on, or would you have them send you the strap and sew it on the dress yourself?

Hmm what about if you bought several lace flowers on pins, and attached them yourself?  As long as they’re lace or a sheer material, they should match your dress very well.  You could also attach a bigger one to the sash at your waist if that’s your thing, to complete the look.  Here are a couple lace flower pins I found on etsy – you’ll probably want something that matches the lace on your dress as closely as possible..

I like the flowers idea, and perhaps a different sort of veil, and you can make a statement with your jewelry pretty easily. I think that you might want to try out the flowers and see how you like it–I love it when people customize their dresses, but take it slow with the add-ons because you can easily overload and look a little hobby-horse, if you know what I mean.

i checked out your other post and think your dress is gorgeous!!!  i had second thoughts on my dress too and came up with all these ideas to alter it or add unique details but in the end i am really glad i left it in its original beautiful state 🙂  i think adding flowers to the strap might be too much.  i think it works on the bride in your inspiration photo because the rest of her dress is very fitted and structured so the soft embellishment shines as a pop of detail and interest.  but your dress already has alot of soft and pretty details so adding something like that could take it over the top.  seriously it is super super pretty and i think you look amazing in it!  but if you really don’t want it, sell it and get another.

I believe I’ve seen the wedding with that dress and if it’s the same one, that strap does detach. It’s the Summer by Maggie Sottero (my dress) and the strap is detachable, she just replaced some of the flowers.  There are places on the dress for the strap to snap into place if that helps at all.

Summer Royale

That should be the same person.  It gives a little information and you could probably contact her just to ask what she did for the strap.
