Go shopping with the two next week and pick out 2-3 favorites that everyone can live with. Then go back with the third bridesmaid and see what those dresses look like on her.

@Glasgowbound:  Agree.

Also, don’t forget to get their measurements so when you decide on a dress, you can go ahead and order them!

I had two matrons of honor. We narrowed down styles online, then I went shopping with one, and we sent the other (lives 3 hours away) photos. She didn’t try it on until after the first Maid/Matron of Honor had purchased hers (would have been refundable if for some reason she totally hated it.)

In your case, I’d ask the two girls for their 1st, 2nd, 3rd choices, then go shopping again with bridesmaid #3, and just review those choices. (Since you’re paying, she doesn’t need to look at every single dress out there.)

I went dress shopping with my Maid/Matron of Honor only. When we selected the dress, I emailed them the details and let them know this is what they’d be wearing, this is where you can find it and please order.

The only one who had something to say was my sister and I promptly let her know that she had just made herself a guest at the wedding.

I always thought the same thing, that everyone goes together. But recently, I am a bridesmaid in my cousins wedding and I tried on 2 dresses when I went with her to get her dress. She liked it so much that she picked it! She sent an email to everyone saying what dress spec chose and how to buy it!
