I also bought from a small boutique – it was amazing!  I loved the experience; I didn’t feel pressured, but they were very knowledgeable at the same time.

I know exactly what you mean about all dresses looking ugly on the hangers – they  just look frumpy!  But once you put on the right one, oh boy, it’s awesome!

Keep the style number of the dress you love in mind; you may come back to buy that exact one!

TRY ON EVEYTHING. I had a lot of surprises even though i ended up going for something i knew i’d get. If I could have two dresses the second dress id get would be something i wouldnt have originally chose.

I went dress shopping in America and UK. In US I went to Davids Bridal and then to impressions . David Bridal was PACKED and whilst the staff were nice and attentive, they were just trying to get a sale and it felt like being herded in and out. I then went to impressions which was much quieter and classy and loved my experience there. Then I went to a boutique in UK and had sooo much fun cos it was just so relaxed and ended up getting my dress there

I bought from a little boutique. Best experience, no preasure, lots of laughs, and they are so nice to me. I really trust their opinions. There were two dresses I was considering and I ended up choosing the less expensive one and they never tried to push me toward the other one. I feel like I’ve met some of the nicest people thanks to planning this wedding.
