@future-mrs:   When I saw my dress, I knew anything else – no matter how many dresses I saw or tried on – would be second best.

It was the one and only I tried on. The second I saw myself in the mirror I knew that I didn’t need or want to even try on another gown. I bought it a month ago now and still keep looking at pictures of myself in it. I kind of am inlove with it 😉

Mine was the 4th dress that I tried on.  I was shopping with my Mom, and we both agreed that the first few dresses were ok, they were nice but didn’t really do anything great for my figure.  When I tried on my dress, it made my waist tiny and my rear end look fantastic.  At that point, it became the one I compared other dresses to.  I tried on about 16 more dresses at a couple different stores, and none of them suited me as well.  Some were close, but all of them had something that I wanted changed.  I went and had coffee with my Mom and we discussed.  We both agreed that my dress was the most flattering, didn’t really need any major changes (just changing from a straight across neckline to a soft sweetheart) and suited my personality the best.  Finshed coffee, tried on the dress one more time and bought it.

It took my breath away and it was the only one my mom had any reaction to. She’s always been the type that doesnt understand why anyone would spend money on a wedding dress and thought just the idea of me going to try on dresses was silly. But she loved my dress.
