@AllyV0621: I’ve been dress shopping more than once. The first 2 times, I just took whatever friend was available. I didn’t need people to fawn over me in the dresses, I needed a soundboard and someone who could give me an honest opinion. The 3rd time, I was at home for my brother’s graduation so there was family there. I went with my mom, aunt, grandmother, my mom’s aunt, my godmother, and her daugher (one of my best friends). That’s the largest group of people I ever went shopping with. Since then, I’ve only been one more time and that was with another best friend who was in town from across the country.

My original plan was to go with mom only, pick the one and a couple of other favorites, then take mom, dad, nana, sister, future Mother-In-Law, future SIL, niece, whoever else in the family wanted to go. I was going to let each person pick one or two to have me try on just to see what they liked on me, then reveal my favorites and finally the one! However, I have a very supportive family and honestly would not care if they hated something as long as I loved it.
BUT that’s not how it happened. Mom and I went by a tent sale out of curiosity and saw a dress I’d already seen and loved and got it for only $10! Then I had a dress reveal to the whole crew before alterations.

I have been once so far with my mom (its hard to pick)
I need to go again with my cousin and best friend i think i need someones thoughts cuz i like everything lol
I also want to go on a shopping trip once i pick a dress (to buy it in the us b.c. its cheaper then canada) I plan to go with my Mother-In-Law then i think it will be really nice to make her part of it and try on like a few top choices so she gets that vibe too
I had wanted my grandmother i dont knwo how she will feel thought, also she might not like waiting aroudn for me to try on dresses being she gets uncomfy sitting to long I plan to have her at fittings though she used to sew and enjoyed my brides maid dress fittings when i was a moh so i thin she like that

- Wedding: February 2014 - Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts
I took my mom and sister-n-law one time. That was when I purchased a dress I regretted. So the rest of the times I went alone.
