I don’t think there’s any such thing as too many. I have gone to a couple of shops more than once! They didn’t seem to mind at all. Choosing a dress is so important! Take as much time and as much visiting of shops as you need! 🙂

I don’t know if a salon would get many more styles in within 2 months, unless you’re spanning a “season” change. But if you’re debating between two or three dresses, I think going back one or 2 more times with a different group of people would be okay.

Other than that, I think you would benefit more from going to a different shop if you’re looking for different styles.

I did.  We went in May (09), again in September and finally bought in December.  I was up front with them though in telling them that I was just looking and the wedding was over a year away and that I planned to buy towards the end of the year but just wanted to see what was out there.  My place was awesome and I had the same consultant for every appointment (she was also the bridal manager).  I also knew for a fact that I would be buying from them, as I had done business with them for other formal occasions before, so I was up front with them.  I guess my advice is to not blindside them at the end and tell them you don’t want to buy today.  Not all of the salons are like on SYTD lol – they understand that there will be times when you have to start and are not ready to buy.  Good luck!
