Some places let me walk in or make an appointment for later the same day. I went out one Friday and stopped at several places and made appointments for the same day, Saturday and Sunday. I never had more than 2 appointments in a day, usually one in the late morning and one in the afternoon, with lunch in the middle.

Mine was about an hour and a half. Just one a day, you could really confuse yourself if ya do more. I tried on 15-20 gowns in one appt.

My first appointment was scheduled for two hours and even though I didn’t think I’d be able to fill it, I definitely soaked up every minute of it. My experience was in a really small shop, though, so a busier place may be different.

I did two in one day with lunch in between and I definitely don’t recommend doing anymore than that. I was exhasuted and started getting sick of trying dresses. Each appointment was about a hour to a hour and a half depending on how many dresses I found that I liked at each salon.
