I went dress shopping yesterday want to share my experience with the bees! So here we go:
Dress 1 Lace and Keyhole back (keep in mind the shapeware is above the back of the bottom of the keyhole) This was my number 1 going into shopping. I love the lace and keyhole look. It was a strong contender.
Dress 2 Lace all over with key hole. Pretty, but not for me. I felt swallowed up by the dress and lace.
Dress 3 Lace and Tulle. I know this is a popular dress and I have seen it before on the boards, but I love it. I was unsure when I tried it on. Initially I put it in 2nd place. When I saw the pictures of it, however, I was in love… more later.
Dress 4 Ruffle Skirt I wanted to try something different. Pretty, but not what I was looking for.
Dress 5 Another Dress with lace and keyhole more sleek than the other. Again pretty, but not for me.
Dress 6 Fit and flare with lace three quater sleeve “shirt” Oleg Cassini. Very old school, I liked it, nobody else did. I do feel like it made me look thicker than the other dresses looking at the pictures. Not my dress.
Dress 7 One shoulder Oleg Cassini. What can I say, beautiful. Certainly doing amazing things for my figure. I loved this dress. My friends loved this dress, initially I purchased this dress.

The last one is absolutely gorgeous on you. I’m not a big fan of one shoulder dresses but the Oleg Cassinis I’ve seen make it look super elegant. I think you made a good choice.

So last night I got some pictures from my sister-in-law from our dress shopping trip and I could not get the tulle and lace dress out of my head so I called up the bridal salon and asked if I could come back and give it another look. Round 2 Oleg Cassini one shoulder vs. Lace and Tulle:
The back of the dress, not really my style. I am not a big fan of beading on the bottoms of dresses.
And the Lace and Tulle that I couldn’t get out of my head!
Demonstrating how we could make it more of a sweetheart neckline.
and the back of the Tulle and Lace. In the end the Tulle and Lace won my heart. I am so excited to marry my Fiance in this dress. I can’t wait to see the look on his face when he sees me in it for the first time!

I love the one you went for. The Oleg Cassini is lovely, but I think the strapless style is more classic. It will be stunning with a sweetheart neckline!

The dress is a david’s bridal dress. It really is very pretty!
The sash is one they had at davids for me to try. I love how the jewels go so far out as opposed to only being in the center of the sash. But the color is a little off. I will be shopping for a more ivory colored sash and if I can’t find one, I will buy that sash and an ivory ribbon, and put the jewels from that sash on the new ribbon.
