@kariface:  Hey fellow Brooklynite! I can’t wait to see pictures of this! Fantastic choice.

The other day I caught High Society on TV and I just spent two hours drooling over Grace Kelly’s dresses. (This tends to happen to me whenever I catch anything with her or Audrey).

@kariface:  I’m getting married in Tarrytown though the Brooklyn Botanical Garden was originally our #1 dream choice (a bit out of our budget though). Are you getting married in the BK?

And, I mean, this…

Grace Kelly is amazing and so sweet that you are getting a dress made like one she wore. I am sure it will be so classic and look amazing on you!!!!!!!

I am going custom too.

After going to a couple of times going dress shopping, none of it felt right AND I also want to change up my dress after my wedding so I can use it.

So I decided to go to this local corset shop in Philly that makes wedding dresses too. I am huge fan of sustainability and supporting local business’ too.

ALSO, having my dress made will be MUCH cheaper than buying it- for me anyways.

I am excited ! ! Def post after you have it made =) I will love to see it =)

My inspiration will be Corset and Mermaid Skirt.

I went custom and I don’t regret it at all. I ended up with a higher quality product than I would have received from a shop and which was totally me, but it was rather stressful at times.

I’ve got a thread about the dressmaking process if you’d be interested.

I love your inspiration picture. I can see that being beautiful.
