I always find this so surprising. I have never been in a bridal salon that does not allow photographs – Binghamton, Syracuse, and Cortland, New York.

I bought my dress at a JCrew bridal in Boston (but they are all over the country so just check the website) and they not only allowed me to take photos, they encouraged it and even took some of my maid of honor and I since she had been taking all of them and wasn’t in any of them. I can’t rave enough about my experience — check ’em out!

I bought my dress in Cherry Hill. All the shops I went to allowed for pictures. (Also, since you are Philly area, NJ doesnt charge the luxury sales tax that I heard PA charges…saved a few dollars that way!)

@MarieeToBee:  Elizabeth Johns in Ardmore allowed me to take pictures. I was so grateful for those pictures. They really helped me make my decision.

I’m calling ahead to shops before I go to see if they allow pics.  If they don’t then I’m not going.

Alfred Angelo in Cherry Hill, NJ or Lancaster, PA. I had an incredible experience at the Lancaster store and a really horrible one at the Cherry Hill store. Also Bridal and Tuxedo Store in Newark, DE, Jennifers Bridal in Hockessin, DE, and Irma’s Bridal in Cherry Hill, NJ. All 3 of these shops were awesome and I just ended up finding my dream dress at AA. Forever Formals in Kennett Square, PA is also an awesome store. After a little begging they let me take a few pics
