The last picture is more of a dropped waist than a trumpet. but it sure is gorgeous! I find it a bit hard to choose because you’re turned to the side in all the pictures but I like the silhouette of the 2nd dress you had on best of all

That 2nd ballgown is my dress! I love seeing it on other people.

I like that dress and the strapless trumpet on you the best. The full ballgown kind of swallows you.

You wear both styles equally well! I personally love ballgowns and admire tall girls who can wear them without being overwhelmed. I love the first dress on you, and I love the Christos dress. If I had your figure that’s what I would go for. It’s both sexy and classic and timeless at the same time. Also you said you wanted to emphasize your bust and chest, and with trumpets my eyes go automatically to the hips and thighs on every girl.

Ok before looking at the pics and READING the question like someone would normally do, I just saw to choose between Ballgown and Fit n Flare! I chose Fit n Flare, BUT now seeing the pics of you!

YOU DEFINITELY LOOK GREAT IN THE BALLGOWN!!! =]

So I am changing my vote here to BALLGOWN! My opinion is if you try fit n flare again go with something more lace, unless you are totally opposed to it! I think the fabric of it being satin or taffeta is almost too heavy, if that makes sense!

I really think both styles look great on you!  Totally depends on the dress.  I agree that you’ll have to be careful with a ballgown b/c they tend to overpower thin girls.  🙂 I think you can pull it off either way!! Good luck!

@PinkPeony, I think if you are leaning more toward the fit n flare you should definitely reconsider the one you most recently posted!! =]

If you’re trying to emphasise your waist and boobs, go the ballgown. Fit and flare styles really draw attention to your hips, while ballgowns hide them entirely. Not that I’m saying with your figure you have to hide them – you look great in both styles – but you should play up what you believe is your best feature.
