Honestly, it does look a little baggy on you, especially the top. I feel if you got a size smaller it would accentuate you the way its supposed to. I think you did right by ordering the size smaller. Please post a pic when you get it in too!

I agree with @andilene! It does look a little big, the smaller one should be perfect! (And great dress by the way) πŸ™‚

Stop worrying dear, the smaller size should look fine ! This one looks good but I can pretty much tell that it is a little too big ! Breathe easy sweetie πŸ™‚

It does look a little big. I’ve also heard that sometimes, samples get a little bigger than their label size from being tried on. Don’t know how true that is, but it might be relevant.

before I even read what you wrote I thought “hmm, looks a little big on her”

Don’t worry, you’ill be fine! The difference between sizes isn’t usually TOO drastic anyways, usually an inch and a half or so maybe =)

What a beautiful dress! I think going down a size was a good choice. It will show off your curves more.

Definitely looks big.  That’s comparable to how mine looked–maybe yours is even looser–when I picked it up and my alterations lady is taking it in at least a full size if not more.  Unless you have alterations all included or at a flat rate, the better the fit to begin with, the fewer seams will have to be taken in and the cheaper the alterations will be.
