You can definitely lose a dress size! But it’s not going to be fun. CARBLESS and exercise. Even if it’s just an hour of walking a night. That with a carb-free diet should do the trick.

You CAN take the lace out if there is a seam wide enough. The lace should have white material underneath, check out the width of the seams. A seamstress should be able to take it out a 1/2 inch perhaps.

I’ve been told the rule, 4 sizes down, 1 size up… so most dresses should be able to be taken out. You’d have to get a seamstress to know for sure.

I’m sure you’ll be able to lose a size by then!

I wouldn’t put that pouch pressure on yourself. Why not make it a corset back?

@lawbride88:  I think Lorie is already a corset dress, but if not that’d take care of the problem!

OP- You definitely need to ask a seamstress. When I ordered my Maggie Karena Royale, the shop told me to order it in a size 4 and I’m typically a 6. I was so nervous about the size after ordering it and called to the shop to ask about letting it out if it didn’t fit. I was told that unfortunately Maggie dresses don’t leave a lot of room to be taken out, so I’d definitely take it to a seamstress to see if it can be done. Good luck!
