You do not look stocky.  Your dress is beautiful and it looks beautiful on you!

You do not look stock in either dress.  I voted for the drop waist, the dress fits you like a glove on top and looks very sexy, which is want you wanted!!

But, you do have SO much time to, so if you want, try a few more styles and make sure it is what you truly like.  I had some dress regret, but after I had my first fitting, I was so happy with it!!  Good luck!

You look really awesome both dresses!  I’m surprised, too, about the whole mermaid/short thing (I’m about your size).  Normally, I wouldn’t think that a shorter person could pull off the ballgown style, but you are working it!  The porportions don’t seem off at all and I think it’s because there is so much volume and statement in the skirt.

I LOVE the one you ordered but I am in the same boat too. I dont like how i look in the pictures of the dress I ordered so I am going to go and look at other dresses tomorrow. My family will NOT be happy.

But it helps to see someone who has similar feelings but who I think looks gorgeous in her dress.
