Last week I bought my wsedding gown. I tried it on and felt beautiful. I chose one from the Tia by Benjamin roberts 2010 collection:’
I ordered this dress (didn’t pay for it yet)
But now I’m having serious doubts…although I KNOW I felt beautiful in it, I’m seriously considering to try another dress on…and if it fits well,, ask the store if I can choose the second dress.
Here ‘s a picture:
Blue by enzoani – dalat:
So, I need help!
– which dress do you like most?
– should I stick to my first choice?
– has anybody a picture of herself in onze of these dresses so I have an impression how it looks on a ‘real’ woman, not on a model?
Thanks a lot in advance!

@Seahorse78: I would say to stick with your orignal choice. The dress is gorgeous. It looks so elegant and classy.

Thanks a lot for such a sweet answer. I also thought it was very classy. I felt like a classic hllywood moviestar in it.
I really like the lace fom the Blue dress but on the other hand I’m afraid it is ‘too much frill ‘ for me. but then again…on your wedding day you can wear something that you never would in daily life.

@Seahorse78: Hi, i’m a fellow Benjamin Roberts bride 😉
Your choices are of similar shape but I do much prefer the Tia. The dress I got was the first dress I loved but several months before ordering it, I fell in love with the idea of a lace dress – Enzoani Cambridge to be exact. But, when I tried one on it actually looked quite plain on me. I’ve created a thread for Benjamin Roberts and Enzoani brides so please post if you’d like to, i’m a big fan.

Ooooooh!!!! I love them both!
What’s funny is I feel like my dress is a combination of the two that you are thinking on! It has the side bow, then some flower details, then bits of lace and beading but mostly a plain middle with rouching and a sweetheart neckline. (I’ve posted it on many threads including Prewitt’s and one of my own, check it out and you’ll see what I mean). Mine is by the same designer as well, so I guess that’s why I am instantly attracted.
My vote is to try the second one on if you have the luxury of doing so, and are able to change your mind if you like it better (without losing your $). Its a win/ win as you will either end up with a dress you love more, or be reassured on your first choice.
Keep us posted! They are both beautiful though….

Thanks all for your reactions.
I will stick to my first choice. Prewitts comment made me remember I already tried a few dresses with lace on, and although they looked beautiful, they weren’t working for me (the shop assistant said: its a beautiful dress but I don’t see a sparkle in your eyes).
Also, I’m planning to wear a big flower in my hair….and with the Enzoani dress it would definitely be too much.
ast comment: I will have to stop lookig at other dresses because there are sooo many fantastic ones!
