If your dress doesn’t fit perfectly in as many places as you listed, I’d contact the salon through which you made the purchase, and ask to speak with either the representative or the alterations manager. Though it’s unlikely, it seems entirely possible that your measurements got mixed up.

That said, I would not recommend just accepting that you’ll be uncomfortable in your dress. Not being able to breathe fully can lead to light headedness, and if you’re really running around like crazy or it’s hot out, you could pass out. I’d recommend getting some good underwear that fit well (spanx could help, depending on the style of your gown) and talking to someone about having the dress fixed. You don’t want it falling off of you but you HAVE to be able to breathe. 🙂 Keep us posted!

What style Renella is it? Is it corseted?

I hope that helps!

Harper- I don’t think anyone should "plan" on unintentionally losing 5-10 lbs in the week/2 weeks before their wedding!  And I really doubt 99% of brides do. If that statistic is true, I was one of the very few people who didn’t (and thank goodness I didn’t "plan" on that)- the wedding day is long, you will be in that dress for many many hours- get a good seamstress to give you another few millimeters of breathing room! Dresses are not supposed to make you feel like you are going to pass out!
