@basia:  I think it would. To be honest, you look amazing in the dress already! But you should definitely express your unhappiness with the store for their mistake.

I think your dress looks great! I went to that salon and wasn’t very impressed with them either. I drove from London (2.5 hrs) to try on one dress specifically and when I got there, they’d pulled something else! Kinda freaked me out. They did have what I wanted but it took a little convincing to get them to pull it out.

Maybe you could have it let out a little, plus if you lose 10 lbs it should fit the way you want. If it helps, my dress just came in this week and its 6 sizes too big :S not sure how I’m gonna get that fixed…

I think the look of number 1 is a bit too loose, to be perfectly honest.  It looks like you have no booty in the first one , and you definitely have a cute one, so something in between should be about right.

Still get some kind of compensation from the store because they’re clearly in the wrong, but if you’re planning on losing 10 lbs anyway(if you’re 5’7″ or under) that will give you and the seamstress more than enough room to breathe.

If they give you drama, let your Fiance deal with it.  You don’t need anymore stress, but they can’t just get away with bad communication with their brides.
