Eh! You will find exactly what you want, no worries.

To keep people off your back (mostly the random people, not family and close friends) just tell them it’s a secret and you would rather not discuss it.

Or you could go as far as describing some elaborate dress in such detail they zone out LOL at least then you could get a laugh 🙂

I don’t think you are crazy, sometimes it’s not all about the dress. I don’t think you have put it off too long, our engagement was only 8 months and I got my dress with only 5 months or so left, so you’re fine. It can be done.

Not only are you NOT crazy, but you’re not alone, either. I had NO idea what I wanted as far as dresses are concerned, I looked on websites for months before I finally saved up enough to buy one and even then I had no idea. I was also uncomfortable with my weight… I wanted to drop at least 20lbs and I didn’t want to find the dress that looks perfect on me NOW but wont when I lose 20lbs, or looks horrible on me but had I been 20lbs lighter, may be the dress of my dreams. I felt like I tried on EVERY STYLE. Fortunately for me, one dress I tried on changed my entire perception. It was the one. I knew it. I cried and my mom cried and my friends cried. All my previous fears of wasting my time and money were gone. So my point is… just hold out for a little while. And dont be afraid to try on ANYTHING, even if it turns out to be a complete disaster. It’ll help you figure out what you’re going for. For instance, I knew after I tried on a sleek, almost skin-tight simple silk dress that I didnt want to go simple. Good luck 🙂
