I purchased a dress what has straps, but I really don’t know if I like the straps or not. The straps are sewn into the top of the bodice, not a part of the bodice itself, so it would be very easy to have them removed, or altered.
So, I’m torn between three choices:
1. Leave the straps the way they are;
2. Have the straps altered into an off-the-shoulder style; or
3. Remove the straps completely.

I like the off-the-shoulder straps.
Your dress is lovely!

I like the strapless or off the shoulder. I’m not necessarily in love with the original straps for some reason.

I prefer the strapless look with your particular dress.

I like it strapless the best! I think it gives you a sweeter neckline, but I think they all look nice

Off the shoulder or strapless looks best!

Thanks everyone for your input!
I’ve been toying with the idea of finding someone who can devise a way to make the straps removable. That way I can go through the ceremony with off-the-shoulder straps (which may be more appropriate for a church wedding) and then just remove them once the ceremony is over.
If I do opt to go strapless I was thinking of saving the straps, because they’re lacy and beaded, and have them used in the wrapping of my bouquet.

I would definately keep the straps if you do remove them because the fabric could be used for many things and then kept as a memento that is much smaller then keeping a whole dress!

I think it would look gorgeous without straps! my second choice would be the off the shoulders.

love the straps, second choice is off the shoulders. the strapless makes the dress pop to me (if that makes sense)…
