I tried on wedding dresses for the first time this weekend, and while I found some that I really liked, I still have my heart set on 3/4 sleeves lace or illusion. I’m having a hard time finding designers that carry that style and then finding salons that have them. The following pictures are images of dresses I like. Any suggestions? I live in NJ.

@FunnyGirl1224: Jaehee bridal had many dresses and lace boleros or sleeves that could be added. Also, Castle Couture had them too in Marlboro. All the other bridal shops I went to did not have dresses with sleeves.

maggie sottero, justin alexander and allure have a few. You may however be more sucessful to buy a strapless and add a lace top to it. That’s what I did. I had mine custom made but tulipbridal.com has a lot of them.

I agree with pp. I had a really hard time finding a dres with sleeves. I looked everywhere for a dress with sleeves and it came down to ordering a dress with a bolero or adding sleeves. I went with a Casablanca and they will customize it with sleeves for you. I don’t know exactly what it will look like when it comes in by hoping for the best!

I love the look of the lace top!

Also, you might look into August Jones, Rosa Clara, Pronovias, Jim Hjelm (particularly the JH8211) and Wtoo (Astoria). Hope this helps!

That second dress is Pronovias Pergola with the bolero on backwards. Most designers that carry Pronovias should have it

@Treeline: Love the Mori Lee 1851. It is beautiful in person. It was the first dress I tried on and it was very flattering. Seeing that picture again gave me a tinge of dress regret!
