Definitely doable!! 1-2 lbs per week is healthy and sustainable. Cut out junk (soda, candy, chips, etc) and consider joining a gym. Whatever your activity level is now, try increasing by a little bit each week (to avoid injury), and you will see results!

@KathPuj:  DEFINITELY do-able. I’ve lost almost 25 lbs in 3 months. Limit your calorie intake. It’s 80% the food you eat 20% exercise. My Fitness Pal has been my best friend for the past 3+ months.

@MrsHart2Bee:  Agreed. The saying “you are what you eat” is more true than most people realize… food determines your size, exercise determines how toned you are.

It it took you 2 weeks to gain it (14 days), then you can definitely lose the weight and a little more in 100 days!  Usually the weight that you put on quickly can come off quickly, it hasn’t gotten “stubborn” yet.  But like the others said, it’ll take hard work!  I just joined Weight Watchers online and love it…consider giving that a try. I’ve lost 3.5 lbs in 1.5 weeks.

OMG I just posted about this very same thing today. It feels good to know I’mnot the only one in the world with this issue, but at least you’ve got more time than me to get into shape, I’ve got 43 days and I was totally bummed out this am. But I know how you but be encouraged. We can do this and our dresses will fit perfectly and we will be beautiful on our wedding day. πŸ™‚ I’m starting tomorrow morning. No more lazy days and late night eating for me.

Weight Watchers online isn’t free, but I think it’s still worth it. As the others have said, the majority of weight loss has to do with what you eat, not the exercise (weight loss/gain is the result of calories consumed vs calories burned and it’s a lot “easier” to consume much more calories than you can burn!).

I signed up a couple of weeks ago and it cost me about $18/month when I committed to 6 months.  This was on the Canadian site, though…

I have a 7 day diet and you loose near 2 lb per day.. If you want it, pm me πŸ™‚

But it’s just an emergency diet, not a regular one okay πŸ™‚

Definitely doable. I lost more than 10 pounds in the month leading up to the wedding (and, no, I wasn’t crash dieting, I was just working out & keeping my carbs low, and I think the stress of the last week just left me too busy to remember to eat enough). Usually, when you gain weight that quickly, it is mostly water weight, which can be shed relatively quickly. Just make healthy food choices & work out regularly, and you should have no problem reaching your goal in 100 days, that’s plenty of time.

Hee…hee…I already knew my dress wasn’t going to zip up! But I went ahead and got it because I knew I neededto shed these pounds. You might get a lace up back added to the dress, but I don’t know how long that takes.
