Do you have some pictures of the dress and/or the venue to show us?

Don’t worry. You love your dress, you love your theme. Accessorize with some more vintage details and the dress will go with your theme just fine. It’s all how you wear it.

You can always use your accessories to help to help tell the story too. If you have a modern looking dress in a vintage local, maybe look for little ways to “vintage it up” Without seeing the dress or venue its hard to say, but no one in their mind would say the bride was “over dressed” for her venue! (I am pretty sure this is impossible).

If you love the dress and you love the venue roll with it. Its your wedding so you make the rules! (more or less)

Best of luck and happy planning!

They go together just fine! I wouldn’t fret too much. You can’t be overdressed on your wedding day.

You can always turn the venue into a wedding that fits with your dress. You saved a lot of money on your dress, so use that extra cash to go overboard with the decor in order to make your wedding look as formal and extravagant as your dress. You can turn even the most casual venue into an extravagant production with the right theme and decor
