I hate to say it, but the front kind of looks like a skeleton with the lace running down the legs. The silhouette is gorgeous but the nude/lace combo is not great.

Honest opinion : No. Just no. I am especially bothered by the “hole” on your butt. Keep looking!

mwd123:  I think it would be stunning in all ivory! The back is just incredible! Can I ask the designer/name of the gown?

Great shape, but it looks so naked to me.

I think it would be beautiful if it was ivory on ivory!

You rock that shape of dress!  What I don’t like is how chunky the lace is and the white-nude contrast.  It’s a no for me.

ETA:  if it’s going to be all ivory, then it’s a yes for me.

mwd123:  A summary of what I deleted: like everyone else: back nice, front awful.

Now I’ve read your last comment, that the dress would be ivory. I think that will look a thousand times better – but I still think the lace is pretty big/harsh up front and the back is gorgeous.  I’d have to see it in ivory to make a real decision – have you got a model photo in ivory we could compare to?

mwd123:  The back is to die for. Unfortunately where the lace stops on the front and makes that big blank space makes it look as though you are trying to show your hoo-ha except you aren’t. It may give some people heart attacks.

Edit*- Oh, I just saw your update that the nude part would be ordered in ivory. You really should have said that upfront. All ivory would probably be great.

The dress is gorgeous. Reminds me a ton of something Kim Kardashian would wear. If you love it I would go for it although I could see it being worn to a red carpet event as well and not just a wedding

Congratulations on sticking to your guns and finding your dress.  I am sure it will be lovely in ivory and when in the correct size.  The train is jaw dropping.

I get the appeal, but I think it’s one of those dresses that’ll get the “what was I thinking” reaction sometime in the future.
