So. Our wedding has been moved forward to next june!!! AGH, I have no idea about dresses. I really like two etsy dresses and though I could email the seller to make them more bridal. I want something light and flowey. Chiffon and preferably tea length. I don’t really want a 50’s feel. I am a size 14.
The bodice of this one is perfect and simple!
But this blue one has adorable little sleeves and I could mabey ask her to make a sash that matches the sleeves a little. Obviously again everything would need to be in white, ivory, blush, or champagne.
My venue is a winebar and it is a casual ceremony with a very intimate but classy lunch reception. What length would you go? Does anyone have pictures of skirts that would look good with either of these dresses or alternative dresses? Thoughts on etsy or alternatives to check out?

I personally want 2 dresses for my wedding. I want a long gown because honestly, how often do you get to wear a long gown??? And then I want a short party dress. But, if I had to pick only one, I’d wear the long gown the entire night.
I think the idea of adding those beautiful cap sleeves with a matching sash sounds WONDERFUL. You can definitely do that and make it long and flowy, that dress sounds beautiful!!
What do you think of something like this:
Only with the matching sash.
EDIT: I love the ruffly-flowiness of the skirt. I realize the bodice is the same as the 2nd (blue) dress you posted, but maybe you can have her change it to the more simpler first dress?

That first one is very cute!

@futuremrsk18: Oh this is lovely! Exactly what I had been thinking of. I am a performing musician so I get to wear gowns pretty frequently actually.

@mrsSonthebeach: How would I make it more bridal though?

@wederly: You could add a beaded sash to the first one to make it more bridal. They are both pretty though!
